Writing and things

So I guess I’ll use this blog to talk about when I’m writing stuff or something.

Things I’m working on currently include:

  • Stuff for my other blog (hurr durr), features and what have you.
  • A script for a stage play.
  • Multiple short comic script pitches to send to something that I probably can’t talk too much about on here until everything’s been sent off gadurrrrp.
  • Preparation stuff and things for a podcast oh my gosh :o .

Busy bee and all that.

The first comic script was the work of about five-six hours, I’m pretty happy with it.  But then it’s a first draft so I’m fully expecting it to change shape entirely if it gets the thumbs-up.

So yeah.  Authoring!

I’m sure some of you will, by now, have encountered amomentofarchiesonic, a fantastic blog dedicated to all the examples of crap art and rubbish writing found in Archie Comics’ long running Sonic the Hedgehog comics.  Well, I decided the British equivalent, Sonic The Comic, deserved a similar blog as a “companion” to the original, so here it is:

Proposed Sonic the Hedgehog Zones

  1. Enoz Zone: A completely symmetrical level.  At the end of the level, you fight Dr. Kintobor.
  2. Chilly Chilli Zone: You have to escape from the freezer where Sonic keeps his supply of chilli dogs.
  3. Tails’ Tall Tales Zone: In this Zone, Tails affects reality and the world around you by lying to fan his ego.
  4. Palace Zone: It’s like Hidden Palace Zone, but it’s in plain sight.  A popular tourist attraction.
  5. Brown Mound Zone: Robotnik has attacked the Green Hill Zone with the Poobot 3000!  You must stop him!
  6. Shitty Shitty Fucking Water Level Zone: jk this is all of them except HydroCity.
